My Story

When my first daughter was born I was in those same sleep deprived trenches as you. My daughter wasn’t sleeping and I wasn’t sleeping and things were not okay. I knew that she wasn’t getting the healthy sleep that she needed and neither was I. The thing is is that I had no clue how to fix it. I was one of the first out of my friends to have a baby so I didn’t have a lot of people I could ask and you learn a little bit, very little, about sleep habits and needs in your pre-natal classes. So, I did what anyone does in this situation. I googled. And I googled hard. I read and devoured all I could on sleep, I put a plan together, and wouldn’t ya know? It worked! She started sleeping better, in longer stretches, and with time was rocking her sleep.

Then things snowballed. Friends started having babies and I was helping them, friends of friends started having babies and I was helping them, and then I became pregnant with twins, and I thought to myself. Crap. How am I going to do this with two babies plus a toddler?! I’m never going to sleep again! It was at that point where I realized I love helping families sleep better and wanted to make a career out of doing so and I received my certification from the Family Sleep Institute and Good Night Sleep Site was born shortly after my twins were and not only does my entire family sleep through the night, I mean it would be weird if we didn’t, but I now lead a team of over 20 consultants, and growing, all over the world who work with families every day to help them all get the sleep they deserve! Since 2007 we’ve helped thousands of families sleep better and we look forward to helping you as well!
